Auto-Rotation of Telephony Providers

3 minutes

SalesRender has an essential feature for call centers — automatic rotation of telephony providers.
It helps increase your reach rate and smartly distribute the load across your connected channels.

🔍 What is provider rotation

Provider rotation is a mechanism where your CRM automatically tries to make an outgoing call through different connected SIP providers if the first one fails.

⚙️ How does it work

  1. In SalesRender, you can connect multiple SIP telephony providers through plugins.

  2. For each plugin, you can set up phone number masks (number patterns) so the CRM knows which provider is preferred for a particular direction.

  3. When an operator clicks the call button (or auto-dial is triggered), the system selects the provider with the highest priority based on mask matching.

  4. If the first provider cannot complete the call — for example:

    • the call instantly fails with a SIP error or channel issue,
    • the provider has a negative balance,
    • or invalid registration credentials,

then the CRM automatically tries to make the call through the next provider in line.

  5. The system can make up to 5 attempts on the same number, until the call goes through or the limit is reached.

🚫 When rotation does NOT apply

Rotation only happens in case of a technical failure.
If the call was successfully initiated but the client simply does not pick up, the system will not attempt to call again through other providers.
This avoids annoying your clients with repeated calls.

🧭 Rotation combined with number masks

Rotation works perfectly together with number masks for providers.
For example, you might have these masks set up:

MaskProvider
+7928*******Megafon Plugin #1
+79*********Beeline
+7**********Miatel
(no mask)Zorra (universal)

CRM will first pick the most suitable provider by mask.
If that provider cannot complete the call, the system will try the next one by priority, until it reaches the universal option.

📊 Why is rotation important

  • ✅ Increases your successful reach rate — if one channel is unavailable at the moment, the CRM tries another automatically.
  • ✅ Reduces the number of lost clients due to technical failures.
  • ✅ Lets you flexibly distribute traffic across providers without losing calls.

🏆 Bottom line: why it matters for your business

  • You’re not dependent on the stability of just one SIP provider.
  • Fewer failed calls due to technical issues.
  • Your call center makes more successful contacts in the same amount of time.
